This course is designed to build confidence, stage presence, and performance skills while learning the technical and creative aspects of putting together a polished, show-stopping routine.
Whether you’re preparing for your first time on stage or looking to take your performances to the next level, Lights, Camera, Stage Ready is designed to help you build confidence, creativity, and presence through both practical training and performance theory.
Led by Angelique, who has been performing since the age of 6—with over 30 years of stage experience—you’ll be learning from someone who has lived and breathed performance her whole life. With a Cert IV in Performing Arts from Brent Street, a diploma in events and attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and spent 4 years performing as a dancer on Carnival Cruise Lines. Angelique brings a wealth of knowledge from all corners of the entertainment industry. She has studied acting at NIDA, has performed in countless gigs all over Australia, worked as an extra in TVCs and film, and spent 4 years performing in Risqué Revue, Gin Mill Social and El Circo at Slide Lounge.
Over the last 8 years of competing across pole and aerial lyra, I’ve developed a strong competition portfolio built on stagecraft, musicality, and high-impact tricks. My work ranges from theatrical and emotional pieces to cheeky, comedic routines and sultry burlesque-inspired performances.
